Key Responsibilities :

1. Sourcing :

- Manage IT fulfillment - Sourcing of 6 major IT categories with - (Capex /Opex ~120 Cr)

- Ensure adherence of Procurement policy and related processes like SOP- outsourcing guidelines, contractual terms & conditions.

- Responsible for selection of suppliers, who can provide goods/services in accordance with the needs of the internal customers, negotiate rates, set up contracts and manage supplier relationships.

Negotiate complex contractual "Terms and Conditions" (including cost analysis, legal clauses, and performance requirements) with selected service providers, to ensure that the Business Unit receives the most cost-effective, high-quality customer service available.

- Lead Strategic IT Sourcing projects

- Techno commercial evaluation/assessment of proposals related to technology products/services

Key IT categories are:

- Applications

- Hardware

- Licenses and Software

- Bandwidth

- Services (FMS/Consulting/IS etc.)

- Digital - Ecommerce

- AMCs

2. Leadership and Supervision

- Experience of leading team of Procurement Professionals (direct reporting)

- Mentoring and coaching of buyers to adapt a new skill set of contract negotiation/closure and phasing out of the role as transaction processors

Task:

- Lead cost saving key initiatives to drive savings and process excellence

- Candidate Hiring Skills

- Structural reviews with team

- Effective utilization of learning from initiative available outside / within the organization for team development

- Coaching and feedback to team on a periodical basis

3. Procurement relationship management:

Perform ongoing relationship management with Internal and External customer in order to increase satisfaction and improve interaction. Conducting regular planned meeting with critical business/suppliers to strengthen the relationship

Task:

Ensure planned connect with key suppliers / Internal customers

- Ensure alignment/signoff on SOPs along with annual sourcing plans

- Share procurement performance with respective internal customers on a periodical basis

- Participate in the vendor Governance review

4. Key Initiatives:

Lead / participate in strategic sourcing initiatives

- Identify Cost Saving projects by analyzing running contracts

- Check Risk and Compliance as part of special projects

- Lead /participate (cross-functional) in quality projects

Task:

- Identify and recommend saving opportunities, implement best practices Like E sourcing, Volume & Vendor consolidation, New Vendor Identification across categories handled Preparation of RFI evaluation matrix pool for identified categories.

- Ensure control and compliance in the existing process

- Identify and Lead Quality Project to improvise process
