We are looking for an experienced Marketing leader, from the e-commerce domain, to lead the e-commerce business of a large channel partner in B2B industrial products.

As the e-commerce business head, you will be responsible for creating and establishing the e-commerce business for the company. This would include understanding consumer needs, creating and curating the company’s brand, and ensuring consistent growing demand for our services through various channels. Your team will employ growth-hacking techniques and come up with innovative ways to attract and retain customers to enable non-linear growth. You will work with the founders, Branch Heads, and heads of various corporate teams to launch and sustain new initiatives.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create a strong team to drive the e-commerce business

- Strategize ways to plan and create the e-commerce front-end and back-end

- Establish a strong national brand for the company as a leading e-commerce player in industrial products

- Achieve demand across various channels while bringing down cost of customer acquisition

- Work with Branch Marketing Heads and coordinate online and offline marketing activities

- Prepare a budget for the e-commerce business for the year and ensure adherence to it

- Strategize and launch online and offline events to drive important metrics such as repeats and referral

- Invest in tools to improve the efficiency of various activities

- Build and nurture relationships with local and national businesses to drive demand from non-retail customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- MBA from a top-tier business school

- Experience in senior roles in top-tier high-technology / e-commerce organizations

- 3+ years of relevant e-commerce experience, 6+ years of total experience

- Proven ability to lead and manage teams

- Experience working with multiple vendors and agencies
