Marketing Head - Online/Internet (7-14 yrs)
Role Description:
Develop and implement market growth strategies that drive increased brand awareness, value and profit to foster an end user and customer-centric marketing culture to ensure the ongoing delivery of superior marketed products and solutions. He/she will also develop and refine key marketing processes, identify and lead significant marketing innovation projects and lead and manage marketing as a critical technical competency within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering the company's strategic planning including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans; related product positioning, driving the business forward through key marketing channels such as Print/Television/Newspapers etc.
- Responsible for marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events; collateral materials; analyst and market research management, TV shows, branding and content, either directly or on an outsourced basis.
- Responsible for managing all communication to drive leads and ensure, through gap analysis, appropriate support to correct performance within cost effective targets.
- To review/analyse the performance of all sites and for campaign reporting.
- To ensure that revenue and costs per acquisition are managed along with delivery of ROI.
- Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with sales for lead tracking and management.
- To work with the wider Business Development Team to improve customer attraction and retention.
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
- Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
Competencies:
- Ability to interpret brand parameters, vision goals; to set up a robust plan for achieving through communication vehicles, sell the vision and execute it.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, marketing techniques and marketing control systems.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media.
- Demonstrated skill in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities, including marketing collaterals.
- Demonstrated experience in hiring, training, developing, supervising, appraising and retaining personnel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, adaptability to rapid change.
- Experience of budgeting, reporting and analysis.
