Job Overview

An integrated employer brand management strategy has become a clear necessity within company to build and maintain a competitive edge in the talent market. Social Media provides a powerhouse of opportunities for employer branding by helping organizations reach a larger target audience, engage them in meaningful dialogue, bring employer brand attributes to life and create a long-term talent pipeline that will help build competitive advantage. In this role, we are looking for someone to lead Talent Acquisition in leveraging social to reach, attract and engage top talent as part of our overall business-critical talent strategy. This person will design and implement a broad array of social recruiting strategies. It is imperative this manager bring a strong team orientation, solid understanding of the technologies involved, solid project management skills and a dedicated focus on execution.

Key Accountabilities and Desired Performance Results

- Establish Talent Acquisition organization as a leader in Recruitment, Sourcing and Employment Branding.

- Design and implement an Employment Brand strategy and ensure consistency across all social channels utilized in India & the U.S., Canada, and the UK

- Design and implement Talent Acquisition’s social media strategy.

- Develop a social media “team” across existing resources. Leverage this team to generate content for our social media outlets.

- Develop relevant content to increase 2013 hires over those realized in 2012 through an increased effective use of our CRM, increased followings across LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.

- Enhance the capabilities of the /Careers web sites (that currently support the U.S., Canada, India and the UK)

- Continue to develop and leverage the alumni network.

Key Activities Related to Performance Results

- Partner with all appropriate departments including Sourcing, Recruitment, Operations, Campus Relations, PR, Communications, IT, HR, and web development to accomplish goals and execute strategy.

- Build project plans with key stakeholders to deliver world-class TA infrastructure.

- Set goals in collaboration with key stakeholders.

- Monitor, analyze and report on metric data of all social media sites to management (monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of marketing and social media programs on sourcing initiatives)

- Provide training for Recruiters and Sourcers on the use of social media tools and the CRM to identify, engage and recruit talent

- Work with TA and Communications colleagues in India & globally to provide “glocal” content to various social media channels. Generate “Aon original” content to increase Aon’s following.

- Work through technical challenges (multiple feeds, etc) to resolve issues

- Push Aon’s jobs via Tweeter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Facebook (as well as any other channels seen as relevant).

- Test, pilot and implement new programs.

- Manage vendor relationships.

- Continually adapt to the changing landscape of career site technology, social media and social tools.

Effective Interpersonal skills

- Collaboration and strong communication skills. The ability to engage and influence colleagues and senior leadership.

- Focus and the ability to drive projects to completion

- Analytical mindset to create appropriate metrics along with an ability to extract the right information to define success and future strategies.

Technical skills

- Manage the technical aspects of attracting and engaging with talent, including the relationships between careers website, SEO optimized landing pages, portals, third party applications, digital interviewing platforms, the CRM and Applicant Tracking Systems.

- Ensure all elements of recruiting architecture are optimized.

Education, Skill and Experience

- M.B.A ( Marketing) with 5-6 years experience in global social media recruiting/sourcing and employment branding (e.g. Web, Email, Landing Pages, benchmarking, Microsites, Blogs, RSS, Social Networks, SMS, etc)

- 3+ years experience in on-line recruitment and sourcing specifically related to advanced use of Social Media.

- Experience in community management and facilitation.

- Experience presenting to groups of 30+ via webinars, conference calls and in person.

- Understanding of recruitment budgeting process.

- Work experience with a professional services company preferred but not mandatory.
