JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Provide Business Analytics to guide strategy & decision making on all brands
a. Control the Marketing spends
b. Smooth & efficient payment process for marketing contracts / activities
c. Costing and Product profitability of the brands
2. Provide Consumer Marketing insights & direction for all brands
a. Provide expert research consultancy across the major Marketing projects, proactively recommending and managing research initiatives
b. Ensure clear communication and interpretation of actionable research and consumer insights across a wide range of internal and external clients, for example: Brand team members, R&D, advertising agencies and Global Category Management
c. Ensure adherence to processes for market research
d. Act as coach to the marketing team, facilitating initiatives to enhance the knowledge and application of market research techniques and approaches
3. Provide Shopper Marketing insights & guidelines for all brands/categories across all channels
a. Develop and institutionalize an approach to shopper marketing
b. Put in place a ‘ways of working’ with the marketing and sales team with clear timelines for involvement and agreed deliverables
c. Agree on measurement of the SM output with key stakeholders and set up a measurement system
d. Build the shopper marketing capability with the shopper team , including their understanding, capability and profile within the marketing team and key stakeholders.
e. Improve the marketing team capability on Shopper Marketing
4. Build Digital Marketing capability for the Marketing team; support key Digital activities
a. Evangelize Digital Marketing adoption within Brand Team for influencing consumer/expert path to purchase/prescribe
b. Role out Global Guidelines on digital marketing; liaise with Global Digital Services
c. Vendor identification & quality monitoring for Digital Services; including Digital Creative agencies, Digital Media agencies
d. Bridge between IT & Marketing for Digital activities & standards
CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. MBA from a Premier Institute
2. Expertise in Consumer Marketing & Shopper Marketing
3. Understanding of marketing such as customer segmentation, brand and product management, brand communication, promotions, market research, etc.
4. Experience : 12 – 15 Years
5. Industry : FMCG Only
