Market Analyst Roles & Responsibilities  - Analyst would be required to support the product & services strategy initiatives in the market segment of the client  Building on the long term market forecast,   Conducting market research (primary / secondary),   Leveraging competitive and market intelligence.   - Actively participate in building and tracking the organization's 5Y / 10Y plan process in view of changing market trends and competitive landscapes.  - Contribute to the competitor simulation and strategy exercises closely monitoring competitors- financials, product investments, R&D focus, M&As, etc.   - Continuously track Customers- product & services strategy with an objective to assimilate and communicate the potential impact for the Client  - Monitor global aviation market trends, changing regulations and assess the effect of the macro trends on the organization.  Skills / Experience   - Aerospace industry experience in Research and Analytics is a MUST  - Qualification - (B.E + MBA) OR (B.A (Economics) + MBA )  - Experience in market research and competitive intelligence - preferably in Aerospace industry (aerospace OEMs or aftermarket services)   - Exposure to / expertise in market and business research tools & techniques, handling surveys, performing analysis & presenting findings.   - Research, analyze & prepare competitive assessment reports from public domain sources - annual / quarterly report, investor reports, etc.  - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.   - Comfortable working with different data sources and large datasets and ability to identify and assimilate key trends and present effectively to senior management.  - Knowledge of predictive tools and techniques would be an asset.   - Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS ACCESS   Competencies  - Flexible and willing to work off hours to connect with the Client's global teams   - Is assertive, proactive and self-directed; without the requirement for continuous supervision  - Adaptable and flexible to evolve and grow with the job / market requirements  - Can manage expectations and present objective solutions and arguments based on business requirements  - Contributes to the team or department by applying their knowledge of one or more functional areas  - Team player with positive attitude and eagerness to learn   - Excellent communication and presentation skills
