Looking for candidates with 15-20yrs of experience into Retail Operations for a leading Retail Company in Bangalore.  Location : Bangalore  Area : Karnataka Goa  No of stores : 34 between 2 states  TO pm - app : 15 - 16 Cr per month  Background : Retail sales operations, P&L responsibility, Store expansion, Fashion background preferably  Responsibility Area Description :   Target Achievement :   - Achievement of the Sales Targets of the region  - To ensure that OPEX and EBITDA Targets for the assigned stores is met  Stock Planning for the Region :  - To plan and implement Promotional activities to meet the sales targets  - To monitor, control and supervise implementation of the planned sales, stock and OPEX Budgets  Region Operations :  - To visit stores regularly and work with the team of store managers to ensure appropriate look and feel of the store  - Provide guidance on escalated issues and customer complaints  - Monitor existing parameters and continuously review/ refine and create appropriate measures of productivity towards maximising retail operational profitability.  - Ensure maximum productive utilization of the wallet   - Supervise the ordering process and manage the stock levels within given budget. Minimise dead and damaged stock in the region  - To ensure adherence to Fabindia store operations protocol and principles and monitor compliance to protocols, provide guidance on escalated issues and drive transfer of internal best practices  - To provide inputs on SOPs as per industry benchmarks in order to design, implement, monitor and continuously upgrade them for meeting company objectives  - Ensure that there is no store in the region below minimum EBITDA norm. In case there is, work towards increasing the profitability of the store  - To ensure proper documentation, monitor compliance for all applicable retail commercial taxes for inter / intra region stock movement and handle escalated issues  - To ensure proper packaging & insurance documentation to be in place for cross store transfers. Accurate documentation is submitted timely to support claims  - To ensure all stores follow corporate VM guidelines  Brand Management :  To drive shelving, marketing and promotions in the region in order to make the product visible, accessible, and appealing to customers  Business Expansion :  - Analysing the impact of any changes in relevant business, economic and political environment, evaluate the scenarios and propose plan of action/solution accordingly  - Formulating strategies & recommending business development initiatives / workable business ideas  - Identifying potential store locations and business opportunities as per local real estate trends, catchment areas, demographics and economic indicators  New Store Execution :   Conceptualize and implement initiatives to drive market visibility and growth  MIS and Reporting :   - Regular analysis of sales and stocks - region / store / category wise  - To ensure various reports are sent to HO as per the timelines, daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly   Team Development/ Teamwork :  Self Development  - Team development by constant coaching and training  - KRA based evaluation performance of all reportees to be done by the end of every block and KRAs to be handed over to all reportees at the beginning of every block  - To work collectively and in collaborating manner across departments for enhanced productivity
