As a part of the company's globally distributed engineering team, our engineers gain exposure to the latest software engineering practices and fast development cycles.  - Our developers routinely work on challenging technical problems that utilize the latest technologies for fast-paced software delivery.   Job Description :   We are looking for a highly motivated People Operations Manager to drive HR and Recruitment activities.  Your key result areas as a percentage of your overall work items will be :  Talent Acquisition (~50%) :  - Develop staffing strategies as well as implementation plans and programs to identify talent outside the corporation for positions of responsibility.   - Identify appropriate and effective external sources of candidates for all levels within the company.   - Responsible for hiring engineering and management graduates every year from the top engineering and management colleges  - Manage off-campus drives for hiring engineers  - Responsible for driving the lateral recruitment plan for the organization at all levels.  - Help evolve, run and evaluate selection processes including interviews, technical tests, and group discussions  - Maintain relations with Training and Placement Officers and secure first interview slot for the company  - Responsible for employee onboarding and maintenance  HR Planning (~20%) :  - Plan human resource management activities of the organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, and personnel policies.   - Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.   HR Operations (~10%) :  - Help with planning the six monthly performance appraisal cycle  - Review performance appraisal forms before PA discussion  - Keep track of employee certifications and organization learning  - Identify internal trainers for each topic and develop a training calendar for each quarter  - Conduct communication training for fresh graduates  - Collect and analyze training feedback  Employee Welfare/ Engagement (~10%) :  - Responsible for employee engagement initiatives  - Point of contact for all employee escalations  - HR one-on-ones with technical staff  Data Analysis and Reporting (~10%) :  - Maintain and update employee records  - HR budgeting and quarterly analysis - Fixed cost & variables  - Prepare and follow through quarterly HR plan  - This is a unique opportunity to build a rapidly growing organization (500+ employees worldwide) reporting to Senior Management.  Candidate Profile :   Qualifications should include :  - First class throughout in computer science, IT, commerce, management, engineering or liberal arts from a good university  - Ability to independently drive the HR and Recruitment function  - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate and convince a wide range of applicants
