Job Description:

We are looking for a strong Manual Functional Quality Analyst to join the FX Options technology team. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly learn the functionality of the current platform and will be responsible for looking into new business requirements including global regulatory projects. S/he would be working closely with the development team through the entire agile development lifecycle from initial requirement to final delivery. This will include getting involved in preparing test plan, system integration testing and coordinating user acceptance testing. The candidate needs be flexible to play dual role of BA and QA as per project requirement. The candidate will be working on all components of the system in areas such as risk, trade processing, P&L and pricing.

The key responsibilities include:

- Understand the existing business functions and participate in defining new solutions that meet their business objectives

- Work on new requirements along with business support of existing features supported by our IT systems.

- Participate in some or all activities in the software development life cycle

- Work on BRDs (business requirement document) proposing business solutions to given business problems.

- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical stake holders locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussions around solution/approach etc.

- Create functional test cases for the change

- Enhance and update the regression test pack with each release

- Participate in unit, functional testing and system integration as needed

- Deliver high quality change supported with appropriate testing during SIT and UAT phases within the deadlines.

- Keep up to date on business domain

Mandatory Skills:

- Poses 5-10 years of experience of working as a QA preferably in FX Options or Fixed Income Derivatives or Equity Derivatives in an Investment Bank or a related product company

- Strong academic background

- Should have strong business analysis skills

- Strong in communication

- Should be willing to work as an individual contributor

- Must be a good team player

- Should have student for life attitude

- Should have good knowledge of Global Markets domain

Desirable Optional Skills:

- Knowledge of FX Options and Risk Quantification

- Exposure to key global regulations in FX and fixed income world

- Knowledge of pricing and valuation models for options

- Basic exposure to various front, middle and back office operations functions

- Working knowledge of SQL
