Manthan Systems - Principal Engineer - Server

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Development of Manthan’s industry leading Java server products based on latest technologies, design patterns and architectures.

- Lead and/or work with a strong team of Java developers building complex server side, web and SaaS based products that are at the confluence of Cloud/SaaS, Analytics, Big Data, Social and Mobile.

BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES

- Translate complex business requirements into efficient architecture and design and ultimately releases of market leading products

- Architect, design, and develop (hands-on) large-scale, complex infrastructure systems

- Use your technical influence to drive innovation and engineering standards/best practices across Engineering.

Required skills

- Architecture and design leadership

- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems

- Strong working knowledge in the server side and client side programming using JAVA, J2EE and DBMS Technologies.

- Experience in OOPS concepts, design frameworks like Springs, Struts, Hibernate, XML, JSON, etc.

- Experience with a variety of Java standard libraries and 3rd party open source libraries.

- Hands on experience in application servers like Apache Tomcat and related projects.

- Competency in professional engineering best practices and processes relating to software development lifecycle (scrum, architecture/design/coding standards, design/code reviews, unit testing, build processes, testing, operations, etc).

- Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Analytics platform or involved with certain component development of such platform

- Exposure/Involvement of developing components related to Data Mining/Advanced Analytics/Machine Learning Solutions would be an added advantage

- Knowledge of any of the reporting framework like BIRT, JASPER & etc. would be an added advantage
