ROLE : Account Manager (Two Open Positions)

REPORTS TO : Head of Delivery

EXPERIENCE : 10 Years +

EDUCATION : Strong Graduate degree in Engineering with an MBA

LOCATION : Bangalore, India

Manthan is keen to bring on board high achieving Account Managers who have in excess 10 years of experience. This is essentially a client-facing role and requires focus on both strategic long term and short term plans and projects. The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships with Manthan customers at various levels as well as acquire thorough knowledge about their business for which technical solutions need to be presented.

BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage client engagements through understanding of Account requirements, technical enhancements, balanced resourcing, team management and high quality delivery

- Partner with key stakeholders from the Sales, Technology and other functions to develop and execute a scalable delivery platform that integrates well with Marketing, Pre-Sales and overall company growth plans

- Proactively sense market opportunities and efficiently aid in reactive client sales

- Support practice capability development initiatives through idea generation and partner qualification in verticals like Retail/ CPG

- Create environment for generation and dissemination of knowledge through white papers, webinars and other marketing support activities

- Build Marketing and Pre-Sales material/ collaterals including white papers, case studies, and marketing communications

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partner in RFP responses

- Proactively own, drive and manage business development efforts

- This role would require extensive travel, in particular the US

SOME PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE ROLE:

- In the recent past should have 3-4 years of strong experience in Account Management/Sales

- Possess strong experience with Data warehouse/Business Intelligence in the Retail/CPG domain – this is a must

- Experience in influencing C-level executives would be a plus

- Worked in roles that are highly analytical and in a result oriented and customer oriented environment

- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Must be metric driven

- Above average communication, presentation, logical reasoning skills and ability to collaborate with teams across time-zones and cultures. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions oriented

- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment

- Strong team player who can take complete ownership with the sole focus on delivering high quality results

- Should be a self starter and flexible to adapt to grey and shades of grey

- Prior experience of working with BI/Analytics product suite will a distinct plus
