Sr Product Marketing Manager (Retail/CPG Domain)  POSITION - Senior Product Marketing Manager (Retail/CPG Domain)  REPORTS TO - Head - Marketing   EXPERIENCE - 10 -15 Years  EDUCATION - MBA Marketing from a front line business school preferred   LOCATION - Bangalore, India  OPEN POSITION : 2  BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:  - As “Senior Manager- Product Marketing” you will head the end-to-end marketing function for a product portfolio in Manthan’s suite of retail/CPG analytics products. This role will manage everything from product go-to-market planning to market execution worldwide. You would be responsible for market strategies, developing market momentum/penetration/share, developing brand positioning that drives differentiation, creating and managing sustainable demand, orchestrating marketing execution, optimizing marketing mix & spend, tracking/reporting performance, and developing thought leadership.   BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Manthan product offering in the market. Develop thought leadership positioning that drives awareness and preference for your brands  - Create go-to-market strategies for your product portfolio for geographic markets and market segments; lead collaboration with product leadership and other functions to drive top-down decision making and actions for annual market plans  - Break down go-to-market plans into executable elements; mobilize teams and resources worldwide to execute the marketing program; manage, allocate and effectively utilize marketing budgets  - Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the product portfolio to the sales team and develop the sales tools that supports the selling process   - Market & Competitive Intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to neutralize them; disseminate the information across key decision makers in the organizations  - Demand Generation – develop innovative strategies and manage marketing programs that drive demand; run direct marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing worldwide  - Product Launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan  - Develop and manage content marketing and social engagement strategies for your products  - Customer/user ecosystem activation – develop and manage programs that engage customers and users in a collaborative learning and knowledge sharing environment that drives value for customers and advocacy for your products   PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE ROLE:  - 10-12 years of Software Product Marketing experience (Enterprise- Business class) with at least 7-8 years experience in leading the Marketing efforts for one of our top/fastest growing markets.  - Very strong written communication skills   - Experience of having owned and managed end-to-end marketing roles  - Experienced in developing processes, practices, teams/skills, execution partners/vendors and an analytically strong marketing system  - Strong marketing project management skills; experienced in orchestrating strategy to execution in complex, multi-faceted, collaborative marketing environments   - Knowledge and experience of a wide variety of marketing automation and execution tools  - Above average people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties  - Experience in Retail and CPG domains with focus on Business Intelligence/Analytics industry is preferred.  Contact Person: Visalakshi
