Job Description - Senior Consultant/Engagement Manager  Job Location -- Mumbai  Looking for an experienced management consultant to drive the consulting engagement at a strategic retail client. Should have experience driving large engagements in retail in marketing and merchandising areas.   Reports to: VP Professional Consulting Services  Responsibilities:  - Build working relationships with key stakeholders by engaging proactively   - Navigate the client's hierarchy tactfully to promote opportunities to create impact  - Serve as the internal SME to extended team to provide guidance on client requirements and best practices  - Track and analyze client's data and provide insights to improve their business  - Provide guidance to the client on best practices in retail marketing and/or merchandising  - Identify opportunities and build tangible solutions to monetize the opportunities  - Create and manage the consulting plan for the engagement  - Manage and guide resources in the team to drive the engagement  - Create case studies based on engagement experience highlighting the problems, solution and outcome.  Qualifications:  - MBA from a Tier 1 institute / 10+ years of experience in strategic management / consulting in a large corporation in India / Asia  - 5+ years of experience in driving impact to retailers  - Managed a mixed team of 20+ people including, consultants, data scientists and engineers  - Understand common challenges and solutions in merchandizing, operations and sales / marketing  - Understanding of data science concepts and algorithms  - Ability to quickly learn product features and understand client requirements  - Ability to think quickly on their feet and communicate clearly  COMPANY PROFILE - Manthan (www.manthan.com) serves as the Chief Analytics Officer for global consumer industries and is the global market leader in the retail analytics products space.
