Job Purpose:  - What is the main purpose or objective of the person behind the job role; and what will he/she contribute to the overall business of the company.  - To build relationship with the senior leaders & decision makers in educational institutions and in the education industry to build MeritTrac business.   Primary responsibility would be to:  - Achieve revenue targets   - Ensure sustainable business growth   - Help Education segment team members in their prospecting effort to achieve numbers   - Conceptualize and devise assessment solutions   - Ensure thrust on both Exam & OSM business   Work Relations:  - Main interfaces- with who does he/she have regular contact in carrying out his/her duties (whom does he/she functionally report to/whom does he/she would interface within and outside the organization)  - Internal Interface - Primary: Sales team members in Education Segment & Head of the Department for BD; Secondary: MSG, Delivery team, MLT  - External Interface - Clients, Prospects, Partners, Vendors & Academia   Critical Accountabilities:  List the critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled.   - To interact and communicate with Education industry leaders and gain respect on the table.  - To listen and grasp customer requirements, business/academic problems and conceptualizing an Assessment solution is a must.   - Should have solution orientation and must have done solution selling and/or solution implementation in his/her organization extensively.   - Conceptual knowledge of technology is important and the candidate should be at ease while talking technology.  - Responsible for Business Development from Educational Institutions & Boards.  - To achieve targets / numbers  - Should be able to instil perseverance and ensure focus on long term objectives along with the short-term ones.  - To guide team members in their prospecting effort and help them win deals  - Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.  Key Success Factors:  How is the success in the position measured?  - Ability to understand & build the business  - Solution capability and technology understanding  - Ability to interact with customers, senior academicians & policy makers and build relationship  - Analytical skills  - Achieving growth of business from education segment for MeritTrac  Quallification, Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:  - What are the minimum entry-level requirements for the job, in terms of  Qualification and Experience:   - Four year degree is a pre-requisite and a post graduation is an added advantage  - Overall work experience of 15 years and above  - Conceptual knowledge of technology is important  - Education Industry experience is not mandatory but any prior experience would be an added advantage. 		  Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:  - Relationship skills (with academic fraternity)  - Good communication skills - both verbal & written  - Good Interpersonal Skills  - Planning, Organizing and Execution skills  - Team management & team play with other stakeholders  - Ability to mentor  - Conceptual knowledge of IT  - Planning and forecasting skills  - Ability to work in a dynamic set up  - Ability to work under pressure  - Analytical skills  - Leadership
