Manager - IT  Role  - Oversee and manage the entire IT operations @ campuses (covering 3 campuses @ Bangalore / Pune/ Jaipur)  - Provide guidance, direction and mentorship to IT Support executives @ Campus on various IT tasks  - Co-ordinate with IT Core Team for Core Infra operations/projects  - Overseeing the management and maintenance of IT systems and ensuresmooth running of the systems  - Implementing IT security and ensuring safety of data and systems  - Interact with banking clients/counterparts for proper working of IT applications,of banks (Intranet and Internet)  - Co-ordinate with faculty, Deans, HOD, VP and Director in campus for understanding the MUBC Ops/projects strategy and planning the IT Operations as per their needs and coordinate with respective teams till completion.  - Communicating/Co-ordinating with IT vendors for ensuring deliverables as planned with SLA of 99.9% systems uptime of server systems  - Co-ordinate for new projects with Facilities/Projects teams and plan the IT needs accordingly.  - Ensure successful delivery of short terms programs / training  - Keep the IT Support team motivated and help them achieve their anddepartment KRA/goals.  - Ensure that software licencing and IT Assets control is maintained in the campus.  - Plan the IT Budget and implement the same  - Communicate and discuss with monthly reports to reporting manager.  - Gather and analyse requirement with business users and translate into solution and Participate in meetings to report project progress. Define priority of projects within portfolio and manage the scopes such as budget and schedule  - Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways to take advantage of new technology  - Good understanding of network equipment, including routers, switches, load balancers, Firewalls  Qualification and Experience  Engineering Graduate with 9+ years of IT Experience  Certification of Microsoft and Cisco is added advantage  Skills and Knowledge  - Windows Server (2003/2008/2012) & Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) OS  - Server Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix)  - Storage Technologies (SAN, ISCSI from IBM, NetApp, HP, Windows)  - Active Directory/LDAP, DHCP/DNS  - Mailing Services - MS Exchange  - Antivirus/Proxy (Sophos/Squid/WebMarshal)  - Server Technologies (IBM/HP/Dell/Cisco UCS)  - Knowledge in Networking technologies (Cisco/Fortigate/Checkpoint/F5)  - Wireless networks mid to large size  - Digitalization and technology in Education  - Learning portals, Virtual classrooms, video streaming, lesson capture etc  - Good knowledge in communication technology (ILL/MPLS/VPN/P2P/NLE).  - Backup and Business Continuity Technologies and
