Position: Training Manager  Reports to: Director, Global Learning & Development  Local Manager: Director, Human Resources - India  Location: Bangalore, India  Experience & Education  1. At least 10+ years of experience in managing Training & Development activities.   2. Experience should include progressive responsibility up to or exceeding the volume and span of control of our India operation: by # of employees; global environment (customers and project teams); and job roles including professional/client services, software development, G&A.   3. Advanced degree in organizational development, human resources, or related field.  4. Demonstrated ability to build and implement processes with internal business partners and drive final outcome.  5. Demonstrated success achieving business objectives through implementation of effective learning and development activities.  6. Demonstrated success delivering leadership, Technical and professional skills training to improve business results.  7. Preferred: ASTD CPLP; DDI Certified Instructor  Responsibilities  TRAINING OPERATIONS: INDIA  8. MANAGE TO BUSINESS OBJECTIVES: Responsible for planning organizing & implementing training requirements to suit the needs of the business, effectively facilitating the achievement of Global Learning & Development and India-specific business objectives.   9. TRAINING OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT: End to end ownership of training delivery & execution.   a. Ensure the right people are in the right training at the right time.  b. Manage end-to-end training solutions from Induction to Training Effectiveness Measurement.  c. Propose and manage training budget.  d. Implement and maintain GLD train-the-trainer program standards  10. LEARNING NEEDS ANALYSIS & COURSE DESIGN:   a. Interact with Business to conduct learning needs analysis, identify gaps, and prioritize needs.   b. Where needed, work with GLD team of instructional designers to develop courses or assign SMEs to develop needed courses for gaps in curriculum.  11. TRAINING EFFECTIVENESS: In concert with Global Learning & Development instructional design team: ensure design and delivery of training modules as per Training Need Analysis.   12. DELIVER LEADERSHIP & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS COURSEWARE:   a. Deliver DDI-based courses in leadership and professional skills (if not DDI certified; willing to become certified.)  AUDIENCE OWNER: INDIA  13. LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT PLAN: Create training plan for the organization for   a. Learning categories: Technical, Domain, Leadership, Professional Skills (including Language) and Campus programs.   b. Range of audience: new hires to seasoned employees (all India region employees)  14. OPERATIONAL METRICS: Develop and propose GLD-aligned, business-objective focused learning metrics (i.e. mandatory learning hours, curriculum completion, certifications).   15. CURRICULUM ASSIGNMENT: Align with GLD and business leaders to perform competency mapping, skill enhancement and assignment of curriculum to relevant job roles.
