Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Drive global/regional Procurement strategies for IT business for Technical Services (IT Skills) category

- Develop and implement global taxonomy for the various IT skills

- Develop and implement the best technical services sourcing practices globally

- Should take a balanced view of T&M and fixed cost projects and deliver outstanding savings

- Develop strategies not only helps savings but also increases the ability to fulfill the resources faster.

- Leverage the spend and deliver annual savings through negotiations and innovative supply strategies

- Empanel in best in class suppliers in services procurement area and help them to grow their business with Wipro

- Negotiate contracts and ensure interest are protected in the market place

- Responsible for supplier relationship & performance management

- Ensure all the strategies and subsequent procurement are done in accordance with the procurement policy

- Conduct RFPs to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained for the company

- Drive spend with diversity suppliers in accordance with procurement policy

- Comply company’s supply chain social responsibility program

- Stakeholder expectation management

- Cross functional collaboration with finance and other functions

- Exposure to STP, SEZ and customs requirements/compliance

Experience:

An Engineer with 12+ years or a graduate with 15+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience with reputed companies out of which at least 4-5 years on technical services sourcing ( it is also professional services)

Skills Required:

- Technical Services Strategic Sourcing expertise

- Category knowledge

- Contract Management

- Supply chain systems/tools knowledge

- Stakeholder Management

- Written and Oral communication skills

Technical Services: where the candidate need to source SAP, oracle, C, C+, Java kind of IT skills at varied experience levels from Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT companies
