Job Description

Learn about emerging accounting issues

Research technical accounting issues and accounting policy/procedure matters

Working with the business on preparation of accounting reporting US GAAP schedules and other back up supporting requirements.

Prepare position papers presenting the Technical Accounting Groups interpretation of the issues

Assist with implementation of new accounting pronouncements.

Build relationship with Corporate Technical Accounting Service Unit

Desired Profile

Chartered Accountant with minimum 6 years of experience ( post qualification)

Working knowledge on US GAAP or IFRS is a MUST

Chartered Accountant with a CPA would be preferred

Chartered Accountant from a Big 4 would be preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages.

Working knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
