Responsibilities  - Sourcing of the Indirect Spend categories   - Rate and manage performance of suppliers, ensure supplier performance of all contracts  - Negotiating and concluding contracts  - Ensuring that the services are as per the contracts  - It will be an individual contributor role  - Will be dealing with suppliers globally   - Will have to strategize and negotiate actively with suppliers  - Will have to scout for better suppliers  - To liaise with the customers to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame  - Will perform basic spend analytics in order to identify best available market price for the ongoing project.  - Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders  - Will be responsible for savings targets, timely deliveries, Customer Satisfaction  - Will participate periodically to reviews with Regional commodity managers to ensure strategies are aligned and pipeline activity is proceeding  Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified time scales.  - Provide end-to-end e-Sourcing support for internal customers ( Category Managers / Strategic Buyers)  - Provide end-to-end competitive bidding of packages as per the process documentation. Work independently (within defined process) with little or no involvement of Category Manager / Buyer once the input data is provided  - To drive initiatives to increase savings achievements  - To be able to proactively identify opportunities for negotiations, for better pricing or contractual terms  - To benchmark existing prices against historical or external market price  - To perform basic spend analytics in order to identify best available market price for the ongoing project.  - To support with tools/knowledge & expertise other junior team members during ad hoc tactical sourcing negotiations   - To liaise with the customers to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame  - To rate and manage performance of suppliers and to ensure supplier performance of negotiated contracts  - To negotiate and conclude those negotiations into standard frameworks/contracts  - To ensure that the purchased services are delivered as per the contractual agreement (SLA, KPI, etc)  - To ensure that appropriate other functions/organizations support the sourcing strategy and resource its execution.  - To carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified time scales  - To proactively engage into internal initiatives with the purpose of increasing knowledge & expertise on specific commodities or sourcing related activities  Required Experience and Skills:  - 3-7 years of experience as Sourcing specialist, collaborating with diverse users and suppliers to assure supply and timely fulfillment and resolution of issues/queries  - Business knowledge and day to day understanding Sourcing and Procurement activities   - Good communication and analytical skills.   - Data analytics skills  - Strong customer centric focus, relationship management with key stakeholders, persuasive, negotiating, proactive and can do attitude a must  - Good command of MS Office Tools (i.e. excel, ppt)  - At least 2 years in Tactical/Strategic negotiations (it can be purchasing or sales)  - Familiarity with one ERP or eProcurement tool  - Excellent negotiation skills  - Good Analytical / Commercial Skills, Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills  - Need to be strong team player  - Excellent communication skills will be required as the person will have to communicate with suppliers all over the world   - Contract negotiation/management skills  - Should be excellent in Excel in addition to having good working knowledge of MS Word and Power Point  - Proven category expertise (Has completed at least one moderately complex sourcing strategy or 2-3 basic sourcing strategies which brought measurably improved results)
