Manager - Supply Chain - Manufacturing (10-12 yrs)
We at Tracers India Search Pvt. Ltd. have an opening for the post Supply Chain Manager with one of our esteemed well known manufacturing client in India.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: General Manager AA India
Dotted Line Reporting to : Regional Supply Management Head
Level: L5
Responsibility & Requirements:
- Required to deliver best in class supply management, contract management, negotiation and supplier management practices
KPIs : Inventory management, Demand planning and order forecasting, manage stock obsolescence, freight cost management, warehouse management in terms of cost management, on time delivery, order management.
- Work with regional team to manage indirect spend in business unit
- Manage and optimize supplier performance, including contract compliance, continuous improvement and reduction in total cost of ownership
- Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Must have good analytical abilities to assess the performance of suppliers against criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, ability to innovate and financial stability.
- Must have Financial skills to assess the total cost of dealing with a supplier, including price and factors such as the costs of delivery, administration quality control and inventory.
- Must have good interpersonal and negotiating skills to build effective working relationships with supply partners.
Qualification Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical)
- 10-12 years previous total experience, with 4-5 yrs experience in Sourcing in a multi-national company.
- Good written and oral English skills
