Manager - Supply Chain Management - Telecom (5-10 yrs)
The position is responsible coordination of all Logistic (Procurement and or Distribution) and commercial activities of the circle for one or more categories. Responsible for Vendor Selection and Negotiations, cost Monitoring, cost tracking and ensuring the cost reduction.
- Introduce and develop alternate vendors to get competitive prices and reduce dependency on single/limited sources.
- Track and ensure proper Opex utilization. Ensure Sox and Audit guidelines with respect to verification and Procurement.
- Ensuring all documentation and legal compliance with respect to procurement.
- To approve Purchase Orders for both Opex and Capex.
- Finalization of rates for locally procured items.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Monitoring of Import Consignments by tracking from dispatch, customs clearance till delivery at Warehouse.
- Ensure proper and timely packing of SIM and RCV for distribution.
- To arrange for inbound and outbound logistics for electronic, utility and marketing items including SIM, RCV and Handsets.
- To provide daily, weekly and monthly MIS to user departments as per requirement.
- Daily review of site roll out with infra vendors and managed service agency.
- To receive and processing of invoices to ensure timely payment and to issue Road Permits & ST forms as per requirement.
