Overview:  The position is for the Electronic Security and Safety business of one of the leading Consumer Durable organization. The company is a market leader in its domain for last 29 years.  Purpose of the Job:   - The purpose of this position is to identify and source Cost Effective Innovative Products/ Components for Security Systems Business   - To maintain a High Customer Service Level for the Security division through efficient planning and distribution.  Key Responsibilities:  - Sourcing of New Products Marketing Team from Quality Suppliers   - Develop Alternate Suppliers for Current Products / Components and Negotiate Prices   - Identify new products /technology through suppliers /exhibitions   - Develop a methodology for zero based costing for key products   - Demand planning and distribution of the Products   Key Performance Indicators  Success in this role will be measured through the delivery of objectives which are as follows :  - Savings on Current Products /Components being sourced through negotiations or alternate supplier development   - Identification of new technologies /products in the Security systems business  - Customer Service level  Job Interaction will involve  - Marketing and Procurement Team   - Research and Development team to identify and develop new products  - Sales teams to ensure customer service levels   Experience :   - About 4 to 6 years of experience in the procurement/planning function in security systems  - Relationships with local /international suppliers for security systems  - Technical knowledge of products   - Exposure to International Trade Fairs/Exhibitions   Qualification  - BE/B.Tech - Electronics/Electrical from a premium Engineering Institute.  - MBA is an added advantage
