Job Summary - AS Operations - Manager

Key Responsibilities :

Project Delivery :

The candidate will be required to work with senior strategy professionals and will be expected to :

- Support/lead project delivery

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Display an impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills

- Proactively escalate project risks

- Ensure buy-in of proposed solutions with the client team.

Business Development: In addition to project delivery, the candidate will be expected to :

- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives

- Demonstrate strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts

- Work with the Accenture leadership on business development opportunities

- Participate in client site visits and presentations

- Lead or support the preparation of proposal documents

People Development: People development will be a key attribute of this profile. The role will require the candidate to :

- Demonstrate a diplomatic, flexible and a strong team approach

- Leverage client projects as apprenticeship opportunities to develop team members (analysts and consultants)

- Perform the role of a career counselor/guide for team members

- Participate in practice engagement initiatives

Practice/POV Development: One of the key expectations from this position would be practice development efforts comprising of :

- Creation of assets /research papers encapsulating project deliverables and case studies

- Extending support to the development of marketing collaterals comprising of - point-of-views- on leading operations practices/industry insights that can be leveraged in C-suite stakeholders

Knowledge and skill requirements :

- Must have supply chain management experience

- Prior experience in operations strategy/strategy consulting will be preferred.

- The candidate must have experience in atleast two of the following industries - Automotive, CGS, Life Sciences.

Demonstrate expertise in any of the following SCM specializations :

- Demand/Supply Planning

- Sales and Operations Planning

- Inventory Management

- . The candidate should have excellent customer facing capabilities, and an established track record for selling & delivering consulting engagements

- . The individual must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the - C - Suite- executives

- MBA from Premier tier 1 B School
