We have this opening with one of our leading mobile handset manufacturing client at Gurgaon for the position of Manager - Strategy. The following will be the responsibilities of the desired candidate.  Job Purpose  - Work closely with the Management team in India to lead projects, conduct detailed analysis and provide directions to the mobile business basis telecom and handset industry trends, mobile business performance and product roadmap, competition strategies, etc.  Job Responsibility:  - Identify key areas of potential growth / challenges for handset industry  - Identify key motivations of mobile ecosystem partners  - Work on pre-defined projects/ problem areas (Mandated by the Management) as per agreed timelines  Projects would be 1-2 months in duration with regular reviews with relevant stakeholders: ­	 - Identify key hypotheses in the defined problem area ­	 - Conduct analysis using different data sources (internal/external) for the emerging hypotheses ­	 - Identify implications on business ­	 - Work with relevant stakeholders to refine recommendations ­	 - Prepare final presentations for socializing recommendations and auctioning it  Examples of projects: State wise demand assessment, Extraction opportunities, Premium segment strategy, 4G LTE product roadmap definition, Operator Partnership Opportunities  - Understand on-going industry trends, market landscape and highlight to the management any emerging developments, threats, opportunities  - Conduct on-going monthly business analysis related to the industry e.g. market size, competition business size, key operator trends  - Provide support to management on preparing industry facing views and documents. For regulatory bodies, ICA, media agencies provide the relevant inputs  - Work with operator/ sales and distribution teams as required  - Looking for candidates involved into market strategy, go to market strategy either from telecom industry or from consulting domain who are/have worked for telecom clients.  Qualification:  - UG from leading Engineering, Economics, Commerce college  - PG from leading B-school   Candidates matching the given criteria need only to apply.  Jasleen
