JOB ROLE
- Lead and develop team to meet the Steering Wheel targets.
- Make decisions every day that supports my colleagues to do their job and puts a smile on their faces as they deliver a great Shopping Trip for customers.
Reporting to : Regional Manager Operations
Team - Floor Managers (Assistant Manager Operations)
Key role :
- achieve all Key Performance Indicators across my store
- deliver continuous improvement that is measured across the Steering Wheel
- continually improve store operations to deliver on Customer Promises
take ownership for financial delivery and have a P&L that shows positive earnings consistently deliver excellent store standards by :
- Having a well displayed store
- Having a well maintained store
- Maintaining the store hygiene standards
- Adhering to all principles of the operating model
Spend 80% of time on the shop floor coaching staff day in and day out on what good looks like and 20% on planning for the year and contributing to change in strategy
- achieve a green for all Managing the Law audits
- implement the Business Plan activities via the change plan and I sustain them as core activity work
- have improved the capability of my team by coaching and training them to deliver store routines
- proactively solve issues that are under my control and only escalate issues which are genuinely beyond my control to the office and my manager
- always have a viewpoint plan and my store team is aware of the progress in it
- Store’s Viewpoint results improve through my leadership
- spot and develop talent, ensuring a large talent pool in the store
