Job Title: Manager / Sr. Manager - Production.

Reports To: Head - Manufacturing

Location: Nasik

Position Summary:

To Manage Production and Logistics team to meet and exceed revenue, quality and delivery expectations.

Essential Functions :

- People Management- Recruit. Recruit, train, coach and guide people in the area of production, planning, order processing and shipments

Responsibilities of the job include:

- Reviewing customer orders and acceptance and communication with customers and sales team.

- Production planning and inventory management

- Determining quality control standards

- Overseeing production processes and ensuring system in place for delivering quality product and continual improvement

- Vendor / Subcontractor development

- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

- Liaison with buyers, marketing and sales staff

- Supervising the work of Production and logistic team.

- Support R&D in new product development/improvement projects

Strategic/Tactical:

- On time shipments - ensuring timely fulfillment of orders

- Improving productivity and optimum utilization of resources

- Inventory Management

- Monitoring Forecast accuracy

- Controlling overall product cost.

- Reducing Manufacturing lead time

Skills and Abilities:

- Team Management

- Production / Procurement Planning

- ERP / SAP + MS Office

- Should be able to do independent communication & good in correspondence with Sales team and customers.

- Innovative and ability to take challenges

- Good Analytical skills

- Leadership Qualities

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Identify customer needs.

- Excellent oral and written communication and coordination skills

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

- Graduate / Post graduate in Chemistry /Electronics /Production Engineering with 10-15 years experience in managing production in instrumentation industry.

- Experience in Gas Chromatography or Analytical Instrumentation would be added advantage.
