Job Role & Responsibility/Designation: Presales & Solutions - SCM Practice
Location: Chennai
Professional Qualification if any, Preferable: Certification in SCM, Sourcing, Procurement or Materials Management
Skills ( Must Have):
- Experience in S2P solution & proposal framework development
- Domain industry process exposure and knowledge of industry process nuances (Mfg or CPG/ Retail or Services)
- Exposure to S2P BPO Platforms/ Process Delivery/ Operations (Understand a broad range of products and services)
- Knowledge of BPO Industry (peer) bench-mark/ best practices
- Good communication skills
- Excellent MS Word, Excel & Ppt. skills
- Analytical skills: ability to identify patterns in data and draw appropriate conclusions
- Ability to work in Matrix/ Complex Org designs, Problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of Quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc
Skills( Good to have):
- ERP (SAP, SRM, Ariba and the like) build & process knowledge
- Preferable to have experience in running transactions & e-sourcing projects on tools like Ariba, SAP SRM, Emptoris, etc.
Job Description: Overall deliverables - Generic
- Responsible to develop S2P Proposal, RFI/ RFP response
- Brainstorm and develop Value messaging/ Value alignment in Proposals/ Solution framework
- Identify and Drive business opportunities through existing SCM account mining/ ramp
- Proactively pitch Business opportunities in S2P, MDM streams across non-SCM accounts
- Support in development and deployment of SCM Go-To Market Strategy
- Support in development and deployment of innovative Supply Chain solution practices including
- Solution design, transition, training, performance matrix finalization, Stabilization of Operations, Process improvement initiatives and transformation.
- Ability to manage end to end sales cycle starting from developing a solution, writing proposal, preparing for the orals, defending it, commercial discussions all the through contract discussions
- Coordinating Strategic Alliance & Partnerships initiatives
- Extend support in Procurement and Supply Chain Operations
- Support in building enhanced supply chain related services, as well as associated differentiators between organizations and the competition’s offerings.
- Focused support in Spend Management, e-sourcing, procurement/ Contract Management/ Supplier Relationship Management, Master Data Management process, across Applications/ ERPs.
- Capability to defend and present solutions to the client
- Keep abreast of new solutions and procurement trends
Customer Facing:
- Develop and Defend Solution proposals, RFI/ RFP responses
- Study & Understand customer’s business and industry to assess findings and develop an aligned solution.
- Influence the opinions and decisions of clients using understanding of client processes and organizational structure.
- Speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups (e.g., client project manager, technical team).
- Knows customer problems and anticipate their needs.
- Deciphers organizational dynamics, decision drivers, and key stakeholders.
Practice Development:
- Identify opportunities to refine existing or develop new intellectual property and methodology, frameworks and tools (e.g., reusable templates, DD questionnaires, presentations
- Actively contributes to knowledge capital.
- Helps develop SCM material and lead in trainings.
