Manager/Sr Manager - Planning - eCommerce (3-5 yrs)
Silverpeople is retained one of the largest and most respected conglomerates in India having multibillion turnover, to support them in their big bang eCommerce market entry ambitions.
We are looking to handpick, best in class candidate as a Commercial and Planning Head. We are looking for go-getters with passion for e-commerce and desire to create and be part of something new, something big.
Position Reporting: Planning & Commercial Head
Skills : OTB, Range planning, SAP, Inventory planning, working capital planning & controlling
Principal accountabilities:
- To work closely with Business &Merchandising team and ensure buying, margin & inventory analysis is done and highlight to management on any deviations.
- To ensure NIL legal exposure with vendors/brands. All finance related activities for vendors like on time payments, value and quantity reconciliation and sign offs are done.
- Ensure all procurement is as per approved plan, rate and with proper legal compliance
- Complete analysis of margins, inventory, category wise deep dive for sales, margin, profitability etc
- Ensure OTB, buyplan is vetted for accuracy (including sales projections and margin), compare actual with plan and report variances (if any)
- To handle all vendor related contracts (brands and pvt label) and be part of any negotiation (margin or contract) with B&M team
- To ensure all vendor related finance activities are done like raising DN (if any), on time payments, reconciliations (including qty for SOR brands).
Core skills:
- Complete knowledge of retail buying and commercial
- Cross functional orientation
- Knowledge of contracts, indirect taxes across India
- Highest level of excel skills, understanding systems and business needs and work accordingly
- Accounts payable skills
Qualifications:
- CA/ICWA/ MBA - Finance
- Prior experience in e-Commerce / physical retail companies in Apparel/lifestyle products will be preferred.
