We’re currently looking for qualified candidates to join our team.  Job Summary:  - The Financials Business Process and Systems (FinBPS) Manager will manage a functional multi-site system support group, to facilitate system and process improvement projects in support of Franklin Corporate initiatives.   - The manager will be responsible for planning, guiding, delivery and controlling the activities of the department to meet department deliverables and business performance expectations.   - Provide leadership and development to subordinates in achieving organizational business objectives and individual deliverables according to company policies and guidelines.  Job Duties / Responsibilities:  Department administration and management:  - Accountable for the delivery and quality of the finance applications  - Evaluate and determine system and process options for meeting business requirements  - Analyze workflow and systems to make recommendations for implementing improvements  - Develop and document requirements for enhancements and/or end-user deliverables from an Operations and Accounting perspective.  - Provide oversight and approval on all system change requests  - Shares best practices with partners and peer groups   - Drives continuous improvement programs across area of responsibility  - Applies mentoring and coaching skills to motivate and guide employee development and encourages employees to stretch and expand their capabilities  - Manages staff including coaching, employee administration, hiring and disciplinary actions  - Advises staff to meet deliverables and/or assists with the resolution of technical problems  Project planning and management:  - Plan, create, and review project proposals, project plans, resources and cost benefit analyses  - Manage multi-departmental, multi-site projects varying in size, scale and complexity (DR, Bus. Continuity, System Patch Analysis, etc)   - Guide and coach project team members to assure timely completion of project  - Evaluate success of enhancements, upgrades, or implementation and determine follow up actions if necessary to assure timely completion of project tasks  System enhancement and implementation  - Analyze and review business/system requirements from business owners and subject matter experts  - Evaluate/propose/design/acquire systems and applications for meeting business needs  - Recommend solutions to business and system problems  - Review data analysis for system conversions   - Review functional and report specifications for systems, applications and other deliverables  - Coordinate/communicate system deliverable needs to Project Managers and/or Systems Administrators  - Coordinate user acceptance testing for new systems and/or enhancements for existing systems  - Review and maintain clear testing documentation for audit trail and reference for future projects  - Track and ensure resolution of issues with users and project team  Build relationships with FTT and other business units:  - Builds collaborative relationships on multiple organizational levels, which could include executives, sr. management, managers, partners and peers from diverse backgrounds across functional lines  - Participates in and/or supports the development and execution of Finance strategies for meeting Franklin Templeton Investments business objectives.  Qualification Required:  Education & Experience:  - College degree in business and/or information technology related fields  - 7 or more years of PeopleSoft functional experience with 5 or more year in PeopleSoft financials  - 5 or more years of related finance or technology experience with increasing levels of responsibility  - At least 3 or more years of management experience, preferably in a finance environment  Licenses And Certifications:  - None Required  Additional Desirable Qualifications:  - Graduate business degree (MBA or MS degree preferred)  - Financial or mutual fund industry specific knowledge  - Experience with project management theories, methodologies and software tools  - Experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger in a multi-currency environment  Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:  - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills  - Excellent organization, planning and leadership skills  - Strong management and follow through skills  - Strong employee development skills  - Strong attention to detail and quality  - Proven to take initiative and work under pressure in a changing/growing environment  - Ability to maintain confidentiality  - Intermediate knowledge working with Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook  - Experience working in change management environments  Problem Solving And Decision Making:  - Evaluate/propose/design/acquire systems and applications for meeting business needs  - Recommend solutions to business and system problems  - Strong analytical skills required  - Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and creatively  - Ability to make difficult decisions while assessing risk  - Plans, schedules and arranges activities in accomplishing objectives for their team;
