We are open to candidates from any other industry also but working in a Managerial role in Finance & Accounts.  Job Location : Mumbai (ANDHERI - West)   Designation : Manager / Senior Manager - Finance  Reporting To : CFO   Required : Chartered Accountant   Experience : Post Qualification - at least 5 - 11 years  Team Size : 2 - 3  Job Description:   The vacancy is for a large Mumbai-based media production house which has incubated a media-focused private equity fund, focusing on India and other emerging markets.   JD Summary:   - At-least CA   - Post qualification experience of at-least 5 -11 years   - Preferably from Media Sector - Advertising agency or movies production house or TV Channel OR any other industry vertical can also apply.   - Should have worked with business heads – need to have business experience with analytical skills, worked on board related matters   - Good communication skills   Job Roles / Responsibilities:   The person will be responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of the financial and accounting information.   Key responsibilities include:   - Setting-up accounting/financial systems and processes which ensure integrity of the financials.   - Setting-up financial review processes to ensure appropriate levels of control   - Setting-up MIS processes to ensure the business partners (all division CEOs) are supported with adequate and relevant information   - Closing the financials (income statements and balance sheets) on a monthly basis;   - Analyzing financial information and tracking variances versus budgets/plans   - Periodic reporting of management information and KPI's   - Managing the accounts payables and accounts receivables   - Recording and managing the revenue collections   - Supporting the audit process (through external auditors) of company's accounts   Key Skill Set:   - Sound accounting knowledge   - Should be acquainted with how a company’s finance function runs.   - High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint   - Working knowledge of or acquaintance with Tally or any other Accounting Systems   - Good English Communication skills   - Ability to lead a team and effectively communicate with senior management   - Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment   Personality Traits:   - Independent (can work under limited supervision)   - Ambitious and willing to make the extra effort to achieve his/her goals   - Professional approach   - High on Logic   - High on integrity
