Job Description / Responsibilities:

- Forecast trends for Cosmetics, with a strong focus on anti ageing herbal products.

- Source vendors for the appropriate items and work with the Buying team to purchase items in good time for delivery during peak popularity periods

- Develop new product and display ideas to increase customer awareness and interest

- Analyze past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs

- Minimize old stock and consistently source new products

- Work with vendors regarding every stage of the product, beginning with the selection of raw material all the way through to the finished product

- Develop new products to be introduced into our Cosmetic lines

The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

- Strong multi-unit Merchandising background with experience in multiple categories of Cosmetic product related high SKU volume products preferred

- Experience as a Senior Buyer /Merchant or Merchandise Manager within a large volume and fast paced business

- Strong team interpersonal skills and experience interacting with vendors

- Track record of success in creating a profitable merchandise mix utilizing forecasting, inventory management and assortment planning

- Experience as the sourcing agent for other high-volume, high-sales organizations

- Flexible and adaptable team player with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
