Job Description:

The Monitoring Specialist provides technical assistance in: general program monitoring and evaluation; use of a Web- based management information system; developing indicators for monitoring government program performance; developing and maintaining the Performance Management Plan and project-level monitoring and evaluation plans; supporting monitoring project design; producing annual reports on project performance; and supporting to learn from and make decisions based on monitoring and evaluation data.

Key Aspects of the job:

- Should be able to prepare operational framework for compliance, field assessments, monitoring and reporting of the flow and utilization of funds, performance of Government schemes by various implementing agencies towards charter or fund objective or investment management agreement• Prepare SOP for monitoring and reporting activities in discussion with fund/ central/ state agencies and implementing agencies for Monitoring end-use of funds loaned / investments out by central/ state agencies to various implementing agencies and development programmers through on-site and off-site inspections of records ona random sample basis

- Collection of data and Preparation of quarterly and half yearly reports

- Field verification of scheme operations and performance

- Integrating technology for ease of information flow

- Knowledge management: Collect or compile of success stories, good practices and case studies of preparedness, DRR and disaster response projects.

- Managing team of 3-4 Monitoring officers (direct repartees)

- Reporting for Trustees
