Job Description (In brief): The person would be a member of the Advanced Analytics team in BIU, This team is responsible for developing statistical models for the entire Retail Lending & Payments and Retail Liability & Investment Products teams.

- The Advanced Analytics team is responsible for the end to end development and implementation of models for multiple business units across products and functional areas.

- The candidate would get a chance to work on multiple such initiatives.

- The candidate would be required to take up the complete ownership of building best in class statistical models and is expected to have robust understanding of various modeling methodologies and should have past experience in developing statistical models.

Few examples of the models that the candidate is required to develop are:

- Propensity Models across products / channels

- Acquisition (or Application risk) scorecard

- Customer management scorecards (Behaviour scorecard / Collection model etc.)

- Customer Attrition model

- Fraud Scorecard

- Development of models for increasing market penetration

- Ensuring implementation of scorecards and models in system

- Monitoring and tracking scorecard / model performance

- Liaising with business, collection, risk and IT teams

Skill Sets required:

- Should have in-depth and thorough knowledge of statistical concepts and analytical techniques used in scorecard development and monitoring process

- Should have relevant working knowledge of building various (risk/ collections/ marketing/ etc.) statistical models

- Should be able to bring in new and innovative ideas on model development or to carry out advanced analytics

- Experience in modeling methods like Linear and logistic regression or other machine learning methods like Na- ve Bayes, Random Forest, Association rules, Neural networks, SVM, etc. is required

- Should have strong working knowledge of SAS and data mining tools

- Experience in R is a plus

- Should have good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills

- Should have high level of motivation and be a fast learner

Key Result Areas:

- Development and implementation of scorecards / models as per business requirements

- Delivery of projects on time

- Innovation in model development process

Academic Qualification:

- Post graduation in Statistics or Economics or Quantitative Economics OR

- M.B.A. (Finance / Quantitative Methods)
