Tasks & Responsibilities  - Supports the Business Development Team and contributes to opportunity qualification and related solutions design and commercial strategy  - Overall accountability of the RFQ deliverables and process best practices management, including providing leadership to the local bid teams and ensuring these teams stay aligned with the overall bid process, solutions design and commercial approach  - Maintains an end to end understanding of the opportunity solution components and cost/pricing models, provides the engineering solution and the related operating processes and understands the drivers in every solution component (or confidence to probe for and identify them), including risk management and legal issues and requirements  - Provide leadership in interpretation of client business objectives/issues and correlation of these with best- practice solution options that enable the business development team to drive the company's value proposition and win business through the solution  - Provides guidance to the Business Development Team and Target Customer regarding regional requirements and local cultural issues on multi-region deals as needed  - Executes the overall cost calculations for the RFQ - knowledge about relevant figures in the automotive spare business such as MHE, FTE, productivity etc to apply in cost calculation  - Participates in contract and/or financial negotiations as required  - Interfaces with third party intermediaries if required  Candidate profile  1) Bachelor level in Logistics or Technical Engineering  2) 7+ years logistics / Supply Chain Management 3+ years proven bid management experience (Knowledge of Tender processes)  3) Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and project management is a plus  4) Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)  5) Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and to build strong rapport and credibility both internally and externally  6) Ability to design best in class SC Solutions by providing knowledge in warehousing operational processes + expertise about distribution of Automotive for global OEM 's. Previous experience at consulting companies with SC approach is a plus  7) Excellent sales and negotiation skills  8) Capabilities to build strong alliances internally as well as externally in a global environment
