About the role: Social Media Manager
We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts.
He/she will be responsible for creating a long term social media strategy according to the needs of our clients, manage entire social media team, external social media influencers and take care of client delivery.
As a Social media manager, we expect the person to be up-to-date with the latest news in politics, digital technologies, and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's and client's views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle social media presence for our clients (top-most political parties and leaders) and ensure high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. Unlike a lot of other companies/agencies where the concerned target audience is small and cliche'd, our initiatives target very wide set of audience - youth, women, farmers, professionals, businessmen and much more.
Job responsibilities:
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Manage team to generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
Develop and train an army of Social media volunteers for our clients
Building and engaging with a network of influence on top social media platforms
Hiring and managing the social media team resources, setting broad direction for the entire team
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics and suggest a strategy for constant improvement
Collaborate with other teams, like operations, core team, and client to ensure client delivery and consistent quality
Communicate with social media volunteers, followers and keep them constantly engaged
Requirements for the Job:
Proven work experience as a Social media manager
Knowledge or Interest in Indian politics and governance
Experience in building and running social media and creative teams
Excellent communication, copy-writing skills, and creative thinking
Hands on experience in Client delivery
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Familiarity with web design
Master's degree in Marketing/Communication from top colleges like MICA (MBA in marketing is a plus)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
