Service Delivery Manager  Job Role/Job Description :   - The Delivery Manager will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of services that are ultimately going to our worldwide customers.   - He/she will have a mission to grow our offshore services capability by growing our team in Lucknow, and by nurturing and enhancing the services delivery mindset and technical skills of each of our staff members. This technical leader will act as the bridge between his/her team and our other delivery people throughout the world.  - He/she will maintain operational excellence via continual service improvement, optimal skill set coverage and resource utilization. This will yield have positive impacts to the top and bottom lines as well as to customer satisfaction that leads to our ultimate company-wide goal of 100% customer Referenceability  The following skills and competencies would be desirable :  - Experience with legacy development languages (e.g. COBOL, RPG, etc.)  - Experience on the IBM mid-range platform  - Experience in Java and web development  - Experience working for a software vendor  Essential Skills and Competencies :  - Prior people management experience  - Effective communicator  - Experience working for Western-world clients; awareness of cultural differences  - Ability to accommodate overlapping working hours to different time zones  - Experience with application development and SDLC  - Experience with direct onsite client interaction  - Experience working in an Agile environment  - Highly organized  - Project Management experience  - Ability and willingness to travel outside of India  Education and Technical Requirements :  - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
