Hiring Unit: Finance Operations Accounting and Analysis (FOAA)

The person should have sound knowledge about accounting & Finance. Responsible for smooth operations of Global accounting team at Bangalore, which includes closing the global books of accounts, posting of journal entries, preparing global general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and having reviews with leadership team. This position will also be responsible for hiring, training, and employee development; managing workload and establishing priorities; ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; managing annual performance targets and operating budget; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving errors and complex accounting issues with internal and external business partners.
Knowledge/Skills/Education Experience:
- CA, CPA or CWA, with 8+ or more years of post-qualification experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts / working on various Sub-ledgers / Accounting Knowledge / Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activities
- Past experience in effectively managing groups of atleast 10 analyst, team leads and managers.
- Strong accounting skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong customer focus - both Internal / External
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills.
- Expertise in Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.) (Preferred)
- Retail industry experience (Preferred)
- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications (Preferred)
