JOB DESCRIPTION : Manager/ Senior Manager Pharma Analytics
Job Description
Our clients are Pharma major (global). We mostly work on Commercial operations - Sales and Marketing Analytics work for these players in various functions, including performance reporting, data management, Business Intelligence, Advanced analytics, research for our customers.
Designation Manager/ Senior Manager
Location Bangalore
Shift Timings 11 am to 8 pm (need to align to client needs as well)
Reporting to Sr. Manager/ OL
No of years of Exp 8+
Travelling requirements Valid passport (B1/ B2 preferred)
Technical & Functional Skills
- 5-6 years of work experience on Pharma analytics - reporting, data management, Business Intelligence, etc.
- Hands-on experience in technology like SAS, Stats, Excel VBA, BI tools, SQL coding at an advanced level
- Ability to translate functional requirements to technical specifications
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining MIS & reporting processes across business functions.
- Managing a large team
- Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Access- etc.) for output representation
- Additional knowledge of output representation tools like Cognos, Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire, Microstrategy, etc. are good to have
- Prior experience in the Pharma/ Healthcare industry of USA preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationship with regard to service delivery
- Provide solution to the regular and strategic problems - in specific area of Analytics
- Align team targets with client's business objectives
- Investigate client issues to determine root cause and prevention
- Communicate in a clear and efficient manner with client teams, peers, seniors and team members
- Oversee and ensure timely resolution of client issues related to delivery
- Establish and execute strong quality control in the process being directly managed

- Overall Responsibility for Quality, Timeliness & Productivity of process delivery
- Continuous improvement of existing process to drive efficiencies and synergies
- Drive Lean & Six Sigma quality initiatives
Client Related Responsibilities
- Building a strong relationship with clients - both internal and external
- Reporting project updates to the seniors
- Ability to manage clients independently
People (team) management responsibilities
- Mentoring and Coaching team Members
- Periodic assessment of team performance
- Identify and plan development needs
- Creating communication plans
- Intra-team communication and best practices sharing
- Manage interpersonal relationships within team
- Manage attrition within guidelines
- Setting up and facilitating career development plans for the team
