Department Overview :
The Human Resources Department is a cumulative force of sub functions such as Talent Acquisition, Business HR Partnering, Talent Management, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits. HR has leverage in setting up Policy & Processes across employee life cycle in the company and was also shortlisted for Business World HR Excellence Awards, 2015. The HR team is highly noted for its candidate experience, effective training and the culture it spreads across the organization.
Role Overview :
The Manager - Payroll Operations is responsible for driving a single compensation & benefits strategy for entire business in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads all compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures
- Monthly Attendance and Payroll cycle management
- Participate and support in annual planning, forecasting and budgeting exercise
- Support C&B activities such as annual increments, market benchmarking, timely closure of benefits, support during recruitment offers
- Implement annual salary revision exercises
- Assist in building and implementing automated compensation processes
- Handling Payroll Related Compliances. Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices
- Design compensation and benefits services and strategies, makes recommendations, and prepares proposals for new and improved programs
- Implement benefits programs, ranging from the initial stage of gathering information through program implementation and evaluation.
- Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees, by working with various teams in compensation & benefits. Design & execute special incentive programs (e.g. variable pay, retention schemes for top talent) to complement strategic interest of the organization.
- Develop strategic HR plans and policies
- Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies
- Employ HR analytics to help close monitoring & reporting of compensation across business lines. Further, support top management with proactive/reactive decision making basis compensation analysis.
- Participate in the compensation & benefits benchmarking surveys
- Controlling Leave, Attendance and Variable Input systems
- Ensure correct and timely payment of salary
- ESOP management and allocations

- Deep subject matter expertise in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: salary and incentive plan design, sales compensation, equity compensation, executive pay.

Education and Experience :
Graduate in any discipline and MBA HR from premier schools, with minimum 8 years of professional experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, statutory and compliance with minimum of 3 years in team management
