Responsible for purchase activities including negotiations, managing day to day operations for the stores, vendor management and tie- ups, payment management, inventory management.  Handling the local purchases as and when needed, which includes calling for quotes, negotiating and entering in to rate contracts  - Managing the day to day purchases for the hospital which includes, entering the Rate contracts in system, ordering as per the requirements, following up for the supplies and payment reconciliation  - Coordinating with the end users, consultants for finding cost-effective alternates  - Implementation of the Central Buying unit finalized products and pricing  - Ensuring timely delivery of materials.  - Ensure timely payment to suppliers.  - Responsible for Functioning / Co-ordination and Control of the department.  - Responsible for periodic material forecasting considering requirements of end users.  - Identifying the slow moving/ Nonmoving and near expiry items in association with inventory head and ensure their return to suppliers  Department: Material Management   Designation: Manager/Senior Manager  Experience: 10+ years- experience and at least 6 + years- experience in hospital purchase (Medicines and Consumables)  Qualification: Graduation or Post Grad in SCM/ Materials Management   - Independently handle Medicines and Consumables purchases in a Hospital Setup.  - Able to work under pressure and stressful situations while handling multiple tasks.  - Success and experience working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.  - Excellent documentation skills.  - Able to motivate, mentor and performance manage including corrective action to ensure continually high standards.  - Professional oral and written communication skills; must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as communicate with tact, diplomacy, and a high level of cultural sensitivity  Salary offered: 10 - 15 LPA
