Designation : Legal Manager

Grade offered : Manager/Sr Manager

Products : Responsible for LAP. additional experience of SME/MME will be preferred

Base Location : Delhi

Reporting : Credit & Risk Head (Corporate Finance)

Requirement :

- Candidate currently working in a NBFC or Banks

- Have experience in LAP

- Must be handling a zone or two.

Key Responsibilities :

- Working as business legal for title clearance of LAP & HL & other Mortgage deals.

- Empanelment and management of legal vendors for all India locations.

- Monitoring the quality of legal reports being submitted by the empanelled lawyers.

- Vetting of legal reports submitted by empanelled lawyers for high ticket cases as decided by the Risk Head from time to time.

- Review and recommendation for deviations pertaining to legal clearance/legal documents.

- Project clearance for new housing projects for employee home loan/other HL cases.

- Handling litigation for LAP delinquent customers.

- Coordinating with the external lawyers for dispatch of notices for overdue EMIs, Section 138 Notices, Loan Recall Notices etc.

- Coordinating with the external lawyers for initiating Section 138 case, Civil Suits, Arbitration Matters etc.

- Responsible for collection and recovery through legal action in coordination with the credit and collections team.

- Handling customer disputes and legal cases filed by any customers against the company.
