Manager/Senior Manager - HR Business Partner - Telecom/IT/ITeS (4-12 yrs)
Primary Skills: HR - Business Partnering
Role purpose:
- Act as an HR interface with the business leadership community, responsible for leading and supporting the transformational people agenda for the FINOPS/Domestic Customer Operations Business by pro-actively bringing to life the VISPL People Strategy
Key Accountabilities:
- Finops/Domestic Customer Operations People Plan, VPS Action Plans, Talent Management. Spans & layers, APD/ASR process implementation, L&D initiatives, manpower forecasting and talent refresh
- Work with Sr. HR BP, Management, Leadership team to establish a people agenda/planning which supports the delivery of the business goals and drives employee engagement
- Provide relevant inputs to the Sr. HR BP to design effective retention interventions at site to effectively control attrition
- Partner with business to plan and execute VPS actions and next steps
- Conduct HR pulse/ HR skips to understand the pulse of the unit and construct action plans to address concerns. Counsel employees & line management regarding HR policies, programs, and practices.
- Drives the HR agenda within the Business, ensuring that all people managers are equipped and able to deliver against the annual recurring people management requirements
- Pro actively assists the HR Business Partner & COE interfaces to ensure a seamless experience for Leaders, People Managers and Employees
- Identify training needs and coordinate with the L&D team for construction of appropriate training modules.
- Assist the Sr. HR BP & CoEs to deliver culture building interventions
- Regular meetings with senior management and team managers to understand business requirements on people agenda front
- Close interface with COEs to ensure timely and effective delivery of all HR processes.
- Assist the Sr. HR BP in evaluating & designing People practices to provide an enhanced value offering to the Customer Operations business
- Need based Interaction if required. Engagement with Leadership Team +/COEs/Group HRBP counterparts
- Formulate and drive the people agenda along with the leaders.
- Bring innovation to change the employee experience around the HR touch points.
- Evaluate & improvise existing practices to offer enhanced HR Service delivery to business.
- Various Approvals as per process
Experience:
- 8-12 years of overall experience, At least 4 years in HR Business Partnering role.
Behavioural/ Personality Specifications required:
- Incumbents must possess a willingness to take ownership of critical tasks in scope. Ability to demonstrate good judgment/problem solving skills when making decisions.
Education/Technical/Functional qualifications and/or Professional Certifications:
Essential :
- Graduate preferably with an MBA or equivalent in HR
Desired:
- Preferably from a reputed MNC. Experience in IT/ITeS/Telecom/ in a Business Partner role
