Manager/Sr. Manager- Global Assignments   Reporting to: Senior Director, Global Assignments CoE (Human Resources)  Based:Chennai/Pune  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES  - Handle Expatriate Taxation  - Specific regional focus on Asia Pacific for all kinds of assignments where volumes are rapidly growing - inbound / outbound / intra-region  - Enabling relocation and non-relocation based assignments models to support business growth through holistic assessment of immigration, social security, taxes, payroll delivery, labour law, compensation & benefits etc.  - Co-ordinating with multiple corporate functions like Talent Management, Payroll, Immigration, Compensation & Benefits and other teams to support multiple assignment models  - Supporting due diligence for new assignment locations by reviewing global mobility, employment tax, corporate tax, labour law and social security requirements   - Assisting on ad-hoc projects at the direction of the Global Assignments management team, supporting other Corporate Functions as required  - Managing external vendor advice quality, fees and billing processes relating to area of responsibility  - Working with the Governance team to design and maintain the necessary assurance framework for the key assignment models  REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS  - Tax / accounting qualification or related HR qualification  - Five to seven years experience in expatriate taxation including work experience with a Big 6 accounting / advisory firm; or international assignments HR policy experience with multi-national company and / or consulting firm  - Experience of managing global expatriate tax and social security compliance processes on a day-to-day basis  - Any experience of working with expatriate moves in the Asia Pacific would be an advantage  - Knowledge of income tax, benefits, social security (provident fund) in India and / or The Philippines would be very beneficial  - Any European or Asian language skills beyond English (mandatory) would be a plus
