Position Summary :

Job Responsibilities :

Core Responsibility for in Plant.

Shop/ Dept ER Management :

- Handle the ER for a manufacturing shop

- Handle the performance appraisals for all operators for the assigned shop (dept).

- Conduct Monthly Employee Relation Meet in respective shops/area.

- Handle daily grievances of all operators.

- Manage the aspirations of the all operators.

- Cascade information, in shop, on company goals, expectations, and monthly company themes to ensure alignment at all levels.

- Improve discipline and built positive attitude level on shop floor by imparting training.

Central ER Role :

- Work on ER Strategy & Process Formulation in Car Plant.

- Benchmark on process and policies

- Manage relations with Union and communicate with Corp ER Team

Compensation Management :

- Handle the annual increment of permanent operators, by Conducting Compensation & Benefit Benchmark Survey, Food Basket Surveys (For Cost of Living) etc.

- Handle bonus payout in sync with Plant head & Corporate ER Team.

Talent Acquisition & Induction :

- Handle recruitment process of permanent operators in the plant.

- Manage the Induction program for permanent operators.

Employee Welfare & Engagement :

- Facilitate effective delivery of canteen & transport functions.

- Facilitate Annual Sport Events, Puja Festival Celebrations & Key Celebration Days in Plant

- Handle Bandhan program (Family Visits to plant) for permanent operators.

Employee Communication & Participative Forums :

- Drive operator participative forums - Shop Communication Committees, Joint Management Committees, Skip level meetings etc in the Plant

Supervisor Development Program :

- Manage programs for improving supervisor's capabilities and developing them as first line ER Managers.

Technical/ Functional competencies :

- Labour Laws
