Manager/Senior Manager - Compliance Officer - Healthcare BPO

Mandatory : HIPAA Compliance knowledge

Our client is a Healthcare BPO with about 6000+ employees across domestic and international locations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

- Acts independently to review and evaluate that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.

- Develops annual Compliance Work Plan pursuant to the organization's Compliance Program Charter.

- Develops,initiates,maintains and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

- Ensures that compliance and HIPAA training is developed, implemented,and provided on a regular basis.

- Development and continuous monitoring of risk assessment and governance model

- Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk;develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues,and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

- Receives complaints, including hotline calls, alleging compliance or HIPAA violations, investigates complaints with assistance from Legal Department, if necessary, and recommends appropriate corrective action as required.

- Exercises day to day responsibility in the oversight of HIPAA compliance; acts as HIPPA Privacy Officer.

Qualifications : Knowledge in compliance process improvement and to include past healthcare compliance experience. Success factors:

Experience : 9 to 15 years of Experience

- Have knowledge of auditing and monitoring procedures.

- Have working knowledge with OIG guidance.

- Have knowledge on HIPAA compliance
