Manager/Senior Manager - Compensation & Benefits - FMCG/BFSI/IT/Telecom (4-12 yrs)

Position Title: Mgr / Sr. Manager - C & B

Reports to: CHRO

POSITION SUMMARY : Overall objectives and expectations

The Sr. Manager - C&B role is expected to conceptualize and execute the reward strategies across India. The role covers all operational and strategic aspects of managing the compensation and benefits function in line with the company's visions, values and strategy as well as sound, long-term business practices.

Key activities include:

Provide coverage for the location on compensation & Benefits

Build and provide technical expertise around Reward processes

Manage annual salary planning

Gather market intelligence and recommend salary benchmarks.

Support the HR-Head in respect to strategic development and decision making in C&B

Partnering with internal clients (HR and business leaders) to design, review and update compensation and benefits policies and processes.

Manage the India market compensation survey by partnering with vendors

Support implementation of global policies and work with business divisions to ensure compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Specific activities required and results needed to excel

1. Cultivate a thorough understanding of the various reward related business requirements through an understanding of the business and their operating model

2. Design and implementation of Short term & Long term incentive programs across Businesses to ensure flexibility and reward performance.

3. Manage annual salary and bonus process as per guidelines.

4. Build and provide technical expertise around Reward process & incentive schemes.

5. Design & Implement Executive compensation for the Business Leaders.

6. Define Senior Management and Key talent Compensation framework and ranges to ensure competitiveness, parity, mobility and performance reward differentiation.

7. Ensure Compliance with Corporate Governance, Compensation & Benefit related laws and Taxation specific to India location.

8. Build Compensation & Benefits Design and Communication expertise at business level to ensure seamless employee communication and his/ her appreciation of the organization based on rewards and its linkages.

9. Manage Annual Compensation review and Bench marking across Businesses to ensure process accuracy, fairness and transparency.

10. Support other subsidiaries as required

11. Ensure compliance with the organization and government policies and procedures.

12. Business Partner role for the assigned BU, which will encompass HR Programs, Analytics, Employee engagement, employee connect etc

ESSENTIAL

1. Thorough understanding of Compensation & benefits practices.

2. Master's degree in Human Resources from a Tier 1, Tier 2 Institute.

3. Highly developed communication and presentation skills across multiple geographies and cultures.

4. Should have a strong network with market (external) competitors.

5. Should Build strong credibility with the Regional and Global C&B teams

6. High on work ethics & result orientation

7. Ability to move between strategic and operational elements easily.

8. Ability to collaborate and coordinate across global, regional and local teams in both service and execution capacity
