Our Information Technology client is looking for experienced Sales Manager who will help - Sell, Grow by means of generating newer business across regions.

The candidate should have an understanding of Learning and Development Technologies, Solutions and have wider network to sell tailored services.

Minimum Years of Direct Sales Experience: 3 Years

Educational Qualification: M.B.A in Marketing and Sales

Other Qualifications:

- Should have proven track record on Account Mining Opportunities

- Should provide a minimum of 2 references for track record verification

Sales Manager role will be based in Pune/India who will play a key role in the continued rapid growth of our client's business in North America, EALA, APAC and reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing

Key Responsibilities :

- Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets

- Developing relationships with clients

- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets

- Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events

- Maximizing new business development opportunities

- Meeting monthly and quarter sales targets for new business and repeat business

- As Sales Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to identifying, prospecting, developing and closing key clients, accounting for all phases of the sales process.

- You will generate revenue while developing insight into a fast-growing, international business, working with high-profile corporate clients, mainly Fortune 1000 companies.

- As Sales Manager you will develop an annual territory plan to ensure performance and prospect strategies are aligned to the sales targets.

- You will develop tailored situational analysis and sales strategies by account that ensures corporate strategies; stakeholder objectives and learner needs are clearly addressed and met in a client centric partnership proposal.

- By the end of the first year, expected to have closed 2-3 key accounts.

- As a key member of our client, participate in the development and implementation of the strategic sales plan for your allocated territory and contribute in setting best practice at a global level.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Our client will look for candidates with the following background:

- Proven experience in building global and client specific sales strategy including needs and situational analysis, buyer profiling, competitive landscape and risk assessment that addresses critical business issues.

- Be a visionary in terms of where clients - by industry/geography/discipline are heading so we can get there first and lead them to victory.

- Deep experience operating at the most senior levels of a Fortune 1000 Corporation.

- Personal network at Senior Management level within major global and multinational companies mandatory (network within HR Directors, Learning & Development Directors community a strong plus).

- The ideal candidate will be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment; she/he will be masterful in influencing, driving and developing power in the most precarious of situations, and will not take Defeat or No for an answer to achieve the company's goals.

- Global cultural experience - would have worked in different countries or in a multinational corporation or lived or studied abroad.

- Able to clearly communicate and share strategies and solutions with fellow team members to gain buy in and global execution of such vision.

- Experience of working in a fast growing and dynamic environment.

- Strong pipeline management skills.

- University graduate, preferably with a Business degree.

- Strong presentation skills and ability to tell a story.
