About our client:

Our client is a leading financial services firm with a strong base in India. As part of expansion of their global analytics team, they are looking for a Manager who can play a critical role in their credit cards division with direct exposure to the leadership of our bank working closely with global counterparts

As a successful candidate you should have:

- Masters or Doctoral degree with a specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline

- 5+ years related work experience required, with significant academic experience / contribution.

- Knowledge and expertise to deliver innovative modeling techniques and data strategies to enable best in class risk management.

- Must have hands on expertise in developing and managing scoring models

- Good programming skills in advanced SAS and SQL in mainframe, UNIX and PC environments.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for:

- Development, management and validation of scoring models across portfolios

- Development of new scoring models as per business requirement

- Effective interaction with business partners across functions including risk, technology, product management among others

- Exploring and implementing alternate modeling techniques, new data sources, etc.

- Interacts, communicates effectively and builds strong working relationship on an ongoing basis with business partners.
