Client Profile : Currently we have a Vacancy as Manager-Risk with our clients who are a very large, professionally managed, highly profitable exponentially expanding MNC BFSI organisation-World Leaders in their field. KRAs :

This position ensures assessment of corporate credit applications provided by sales department with highest quality in line with the standards set Group Risk Management :

- The position ensures appropriate and timely execution of credit decisions as per sanctioned reporting limits by presenting the credit application to the credit committee and resolving all queries.

- The position ensures execution of all post sanction processes like communication of credit committee decisions, fulfillment of pre-conditions, follow-up of post conditions, completion of collaterals etc.

- The position ensures risk of wholesale loan is closely monitored and controlled at an acceptable level with special focus on intensified and problem loan management.

Job Profile :

Credit Assessment for regular borrowers :

- Process & submit new, re-submission or enhancement proposals to Credit committee on a timely basis taking deadlines into account

- Secure Quality assurance of the 2nd vote prepared by the credit analysts

- Credit process administration to ensure compliance with group requirements

- Monitoring due date management of conditions and renewals, and recommending deviations sought by business teams.

- Quality assurance of the sanction letter released to dealers ensuring compliance of all the points in credit decision.

- In case of modification in the pre or post condition, analyze and present to the Credit Committee for final approval

- Assess ad-hoc limit requests and recommend to Head of Risk and Managing Director Back Office for final decision

- Track and monitor expiry of limits - regular, ad hoc and overdrafts

- Analyze limit extension proposals and present to the Credit Committee for approvals

- Investigate abnormal change for customer and evaluate the effect on risks of wholesale loan in accordance with respective pre-warning system procedure eg. High financing period, high failure rates in stock audits, high SOTs etc.

- Responsible for timely update of borrowers- information

Manage good relationship with the parent organisation :

Credit Assessment for ILM/PLM borrowers :

- Responsible for intensified and problem loan management (ILM/PLM) borrowers: propose risk mitigation measures and/or restructuring plans

- Submit credit application to the approving authority for ILM/PLM loans

- Monitor closely on the measures taken by ILM/PLM borrower as per the business plan.

Credit decision follow-up monitoring :

- Quality assurance of the sanction letter released to the dealer, ensuring compliance of all the points in credit decision.

- Confirm all the preconditions have been fulfilled as required in the last credit decision before limit could be released for each dealer.

- Ensure the conditions are fulfilled before due date as required in the last credit decision.

- Escalate to team leader if any condition is not fulfilled successfully and freeze limit to respective dealer according to credit decision.

- In case of modification in the pre or post condition, analyze and present to the Credit Committee for final approval.

- Follow up on legal fulfillment of collaterals conditions.

- Authorize (in co-ordination with legal department) partial disbursement of term loan.

- Assess ad-hoc limit requests and recommend for final decision

- Track and monitor expiry of limits - regular, ad hoc and overdrafts.

- Analyze limit extension proposals and present to the Credit Committee for approvals.

Team Management :

- To lead and motivate team by coordinating diverse activities, to build an active team cooperation environment.

- To evaluate, coach and develop team members, and report their performance/potentials to the Head of Risk Management.

To assign the working objectives of team members, evaluate the target achievement status, and then propose the reward plan

Flexible Responsibilities :

- To perform any other duties required upon department head assignment with reasonable diligence.

Candidate Profile : CA / MBA with 2-4 years work experience in corporate credit business (credit evaluation) in a bank or financial institutions.
