Manager - Resources Department/Energy (10-14 yrs)

Currently I am responsible for our Global Client in India and looking an talent person as per below requirement:

Manager in Resources Department / Energy Sector - India |

Energy industry group spans the entire energy value chain. We provide focused resources, offerings and assets for each segment of the oil and gas industry. Our clients include upstream, downstream, gas, pipeline and oil field service companies around the world. Currently we are seeking professionals with industry, and/or consulting experience in Energy (Oil and Gas Focus):

- Commercial Optimization

- Plant Optimization

- Capital Projects Optimization

- HSE/ Integrity/ Risk Management

- Maintenance & Reliability

- Change Management

- Sales & Marketing

- As a Management Consulting Consultant, you will be at the core of understanding and responding to our clients' business challenges. You are likely to be involved in a range of activities from assessing a client's business capabilities to conducting business transformation activities.

Main Qualifications:

- 10 years of consulting or industry experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Consulting

- Master's Degree or Technical/Business disciplines (PhD or MBA is a plus)

Experience in below areas:

- Refinery operations, including operator round, shift handover, alarms & events, operating instructions, etc.

- Advanced knowledge of refinery operations software, such as Honeywells OmPro suite, including Operations Logbook, Operating Instructions & Operations Monitoring

- Software selection experience for the above refinery operations in the areas of:

- Development of functional / non-functional requirements

- Generation of a software evaluation matrix for the various software solutions options

- Conducting workshops with various vendors and arrive at final score

- Implementation experience of the above tools in the areas of:

- Requirements gathering

- Development of solution design

- Configuration of the tools

- Identification of solution gaps and design of workarounds / customisations

- Support technical team in the development of proof of concepts for critical functionalities and get client approval through structured workshops / presentations

Support other teams by:

- Providing functional expertise / inputs to the Change Management team in the areas of Change Impact Assessment, training, etc.

- Providing functional expertise / inputs to the QA team in review of test strategy and plan, test scenarios and test cases

- Strong experience in facilitating client workshops

- Strong business process management skills

- Demonstrate a strong track record of solving complex business issues and delivering client satisfaction

- Negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues

- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)

Working Conditions:

- Base location in India (Gurgaon/Mumbai) as primary place to work

- Willing to work at client locations mostly across Europe, Africa, America and other locations, for short or long term

- Willing to travel min 70% (annual) of time and could be more. Travel is required and may be 80%-100% on a weekly basis (typically Monday Friday).
